To prevent scratches on furniture, use cork tabs or felt on the base of the pottery or use a BODA Pet Bowl Mat. Avoid leaving your pottery outdoors in winter, as temperature fluctuations can also cause cracks. Take care when using cutlery, as low quality ones may mark the pottery. For any marks, use a kitchen abrasive like Bar Keeper's Friend. Remember, handcrafted pottery is unique and may have slight variations in size, color, and design. Treat it with care and it will be a treasured piece for many years. And of course, always avoid dropping which can damage or break the pottery bowl.
